Guests are allowed one complementary Included Shore excursion per day, per person. Excursions are available for booking from 7th April 2022 from your Silversea Portal. Depart Lisbon (3 -4 Oct)

“WELCOME DINNER”

Solar dos Presuntos, Lisbon, 7PM 3 OCT

Serving diners since it opened its doors in 1974, Solar dos Presuntos is an institution. Conveniently located near the famous Avenue Liberdade, this family style Portuguese restaurant is famous for seafood, grilled meats and great service. Thariq is very happy to kick off his birthday trip with a welcome dinner here with you. Dress is casual.

“CRUISE CHECK IN”

LISBON DOCKS (Porto de Lisboa), Lisbon, 2PM-4PM 4 OCT

“WELCOME COCKTAILS AND CAST OFF”

The Grill, Deck 10, SILVER MOON, 6PM 4 OCT

This will be a cocktail hosted by Silversea for all their guests to see the ship cast off from Lisbon and the start of our journey with one of their newest ships, the Silver Moon. Guests are welcome to make their own dinner plans after cocktails. Dress is casual. Thariq will be dining at The Grill afterwards. Please make your own reservations on the Silversea website when you receive your login details.

 

Cadiz (5-6 Oct)

Cádiz is considered to be the oldest inhabited city in Western Europe and was found as ‘Gadir’ by the Phoenicians in 1100 BC. Visitors rave about its tasty seafood, spectacular beaches, monuments and museums. Cathedral Cádiz is a display of the city’s wealth and importance as the city’s strategic location close to North Africa helped it blossom into a centre for New World trade.

“FIRST PORT COCKTAILS”

The Observation Library, Deck 11, SILVER MOON, 6PM 5 OCT

Thariq will be hosting this private cocktail on Deck 11 at one end of the ship in The Observation Library. Dress is Casual. The ship will dock in Cadiz at 5pm so guest can either choose to dine onshore or on the ship with your own reservations.

 

Malaga (7 Oct)

Málaga, the capital of Costa del Sol has reinvented itself with a more modern image in recent years. The city has been adding a more lively atmosphere with its various tapas bars, inaugurating museums for all tastes and creating fashionable neighbourhoods like Soho. Beyond its 16 sunny beaches, this Andalusian city is the birthplace of Pablo Picasso.

 

Cartagena (8 Oct)

Cartagena is a small town home to 12 museums, 10 buildings of interest, 4 churches and many monuments. In the province of Murcia the town has one of the most fascinating histories in all of Spain having been inhabited by a number of great civilisations and cultures.

“FORMAL DINNER”

Atlantide Restaurant, Deck 4, SILVER MOON, 7 PM 8 OCT

Please join Thariq for a lovely dinner at the Atlantide Restaurant where we will raise glasses to celebrate the occasion with our host. Dress is formal (dinner jackets or dark suits are advised).

 

Valencia (9 Oct)

Located on Spain’s east coast, the 2,000-year-old city boasts wide sandy beaches, striking architecture, a buzzing food scene and culture, without the crowds found in other large Spanish cities. It is the third-largest city in Spain, but the main attractions – including the cathedral, the Mercado Central and the Unesco-listed Lonja de la Seda – are walkable around the town centre.

 

Palma De Mallorca (10 Oct)

Palma is the capital of Mallorca, the Spanish Balearic Islands and is home to more than half of Mallorca’s population. The city has been subject to careful planning and extensive renovation measures in the old town of Casco Antiguo. This “pearl of the Mediterranean” offers a vibrant lifestyle which attracts millions of visitors every year with an average of 300 days of sunshine annually.

“BIRTHDAY DINNER”

La Terrazza, Deck 7, SILVER MOON, 8PM 10 OCT

On our last evening of the cruise, please join Thariq for a dinner to celebrate his 50th Birthday and to mark the close of our time together aboard the Silver Moon. After dinner and cake cutting we hope to proceed onto the Silver Note for some jazz and cocktails. Dress is smart casual.

 

Arrival in Barcelona (11 Oct)

“SURVIVORS LUNCH”

Pasarela Restaurante, La Roca Village, BARCELONA, 2PM 11 OCT

Upon docking in Barcelona Thariq will be organising lunch for whoever would like to join him in the Outlet Shopping Village of La Roca which is situated 40-minutes’ drive from the Port of Barcelona. We expect disembarkation from the Silver Moon to take place before 12pm which will allow guests to check into their respective hotels in Barcelona and make their own way to La Roca. Please ensure you RSVP for this lunch separately to allow for us to make the necessary arrangements.
