What will be included in your cruise
All Food: Open seating at all restaurants onboard except 2 restaurants which will incur charges;

Laundry: There is a self-service laundrette onboard the ship with washing machines, dryers, irons and laundry supplies. Valet services including laundry, pressing and wet cleaning are available and may be arranged through your butler at extra charge.

USD250 of Shipboard credit has been provided per suite which can be used for any costs incurred on the ship, (eg. speciality dining, selected excursions)
General Cruise Rules
Smoking: For the comfort and safety of all guests, most areas on board are non-smoking and smoking is NOT permitted in guest suites nor guest suite verandas. Cigarette, cigar and pipe smoking is permitted in the Connoisseur’s Corner on Deck 9 and in specifically designated outside areas. These areas include designated tables outside the Panorama Lounge (Deck 9) and the Pool Bar (Deck 10). Silversea kindly requests that all guests observe the non-smoking areas.
Masks: The wearing of masks during the cruise will now be at each guest’s discretion except for the casino, the theatre and during muster drills. Silversea strongly encourage guests to wear masks when indoors aboard the ship, other than when actively eating, drinking or when in the privacy of your suite.
Physical Distancing: Among guests, this will no longer be required although the Silversea crew will maintain this practice
Note: With the uncertainty surrounding current travel regulations, this information may evolve. Please note that local regulations may require more stringent protocols in which case Silversea will comply with all local requirements and guidelines.
Currency Exchange: Please ensure you have adequate EUR as there is no currency exchange onboard the ship.

Silversea has adopted Royal Caribbean’s vaccine policy which can be seen here. You can also find some good information about Silversea’s Healthy Return to Sailing here. As at March 2022, Silversea will adhere to the following protocols.
Vaccination Status Requirements:
All guests to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 at least 2 weeks prior to embarkation. From March 1, 2022, the COVID-19 booster will be required for all eligible guests, provided the required time has passed after the completion of their primary COVID-19 vaccination series.
Only guests with vaccines approved by the WHO will be permitted to board
Upload a copy of your vaccinated certificate and any other similar documentation stating you have been fully vaccinated you may have onto the “My Silversea” portal in advance of your travels.
Produce a printed copy of this vaccination certificate in two copies during the check-in and embarkation process, presented at the terminal in order to board the ship.
As at April 4, 2022, Covid-19 vaccination and test certificates issued by the Malaysian government are recognised by the European Union (EU) in facilitating the right of free movement of Malaysian travellers within the EU in accordance with the EU’s ‘Vaccine Management System’ and considered equivalent to those issued in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2021/953.
Pre-embarkation Testing Requirements
Fully Vaccinated Guests must provide a negative antigen or PCR test result, administered by a 3rd party taken no more than 2 days prior to boarding your ship.
Fully Vaccinated Guests with Booster must provide a negative Covid-19 antigen or PCR test result administered by a verified 3rd party taken no more than 3 days prior to boarding the ship.

ENTRY INTO PORTUGAL (As at March 2022)
No quarantine is required for entry to Portugal.
To enter Portugal you need to produce ONE of the following:
a negative COVID-19 NAAT, PCR or RT-PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point; OR
a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test taken at most 24 hours before departure from the first embarkation point; OR
a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days and at most 270 days before arrival. Vaccines accepted are: AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax) and Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty); OR
a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated and have received a booster dose; OR
a COVID-19 recovery certificate issued at least 11 days and at most 180 days before arrival.Passengers entering or transiting through Portugal must complete an electronic "Passenger Locator Form (PLF)" and present it before boarding. The form can be found here. The QR code generated when filling out the PLF can be presented in paper or digital format without which boarding will be denied.
